Need for Right to information

Often Some People ask that What is the need of Right to Freedom of Expression & Right to Information ? They also argue that Government must be strict & civil liberties should not be given much as these weaken the nation's security. The Present situation must make it clear to them that what are the dangers of dictatorship and Strict Government. In December, when Doctors of Wuhan started revealing some details about this virus, Chinese authorities threatened them to remain silent. The result of this is that today, almost entire world has stopped working. More than 15000 people have died and over 2 lakh have been infected. Does something more is needed to prove the worth of Civil liberties?
