Corona virus and its impacts

We are in the middle of a crisis and an apocalypse. I dont know where the world is headed. In my lifetime of conscious this is the first I have come across a situation which the whole world is facing at the same time and almost has same impact.  This event has made everyone a teacher/coach/trainer on social-media who keep advising people to be safe, how to be safe, and how not to panic.  I wonder if most of them even have an idea how this virus is potentially going to alter our lifestyle and how we live. Businesses are going to formulate new plans and strategies to be able to work with remote workers.  Cinema lovers are going to stick to netflix while imax and other pvr is doomed.  Coffee and food lovers will stick to ordering food at home rather than going to restaurants.  There will be new businesses evolving which will claim to protect one from viruses and breakouts like this.  But, it is scary how the world is going to change. While many are dieing across the globe and many have already in Italy, what's next? Is there a possibility that this covid-19 virus can itself react with other things/organisms/bacterias to evolve into something more dangerous. More serious than corona itself? How are we prepared?
